Laureano v. White & Hudson

Trial Court's summary judgment upheld on appeal for mother on parental negligent supervision claim.

State Farm Fire & Casualty Co. v. McCreery & Winingear

Won summary judgment on coverage issue in favor of Insurer under Homeowners Policy.

State Farm Fire & Casualty Company v. Ronald Peterson, et al.

Won summary judgment on coverage issue on Businessowners Policy for the insurer.

State Farm Fire & Casualty Company v. Jeffrey B. Morrison et al.

Homeowner entered into construction agreement to perform remodeling at residence.  The relationship deteriorated, resulting in lawsuit filed by contractor.  State Farm reserved its rights under the homeowner’s Personal Liability Umbrella Policy and filed declaratory judgment action.  State Farm filed summary judgment arguing claims for breach of contract, lien foreclosure, conversion, tortious interference with specific intent to harm and unjust enrichment were not covered under the umbrella policy; the homeowner cross-moved for summary judgment.  The Court granted summary judgment on all counts for State Farm and denied the homeowner’s summary judgment.

Apple Glen Investors, L.P. v. Express Scripts, Inc.
U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division, entered judgment in favor of Apple Glen Investors in the amount of $4,654,688.65, plus two years prejudgment interest and attorney fees.  The Federal Court Judgment was in addition to a judgment in favor of Apple Glen Investors and against Express Scripts, Inc.'s precessor Medco of $4.6 million and attorney fees affirmed without opinion by the Florida Court of Appeals for the 2nd District on March 18, 2015.

Won summary judgment regarding Plaintiff's claims for personal injury damages outside of the Worker's Compensation Act.

Won summary judgment on emotional distress damages.

Won summary judgment, which was affirmed on appeal regarding coverage under builder's risk policy.

Court of Appeals affirmed trial court finding of easement by necessity.

Stanley v. United Farm Family Mutual Insurance Company
Won summary judgment on bad faith, punitive damages, and attorney fees for insurer.  Won jury trial on remaining issues.
