Matthew Butcher is an associate with Leeuw Oberlies & Campbell, P.C., where he concentrates on insurance defense litigation.

Born in Webster, Texas, Mr. Butcher graduated from the Ohio State University cum laude in 2005, and from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2008. While in law school, Mr. Butcher was a member of the Federal Communications Law Journal and was the overall winner of the 2008 Annual Law School Trial Tournament.

From 2008 to 2009, Mr. Butcher served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judges Stanley A. Levine and Daniel G. Heath of the Allen Superior Court in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Mr. Butcher is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana, and Ohio Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and Indiana, as well as being admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.  Mr. Butcher also regularly participates in the Tour de Cure for the American Diabetes Association.
