Jeff Ferrand is an associate with Leeuw Oberlies & Campbell, P.C., where he currently practices in all areas of civil defense, but focuses on litigating disputes relating to insurance coverage, insurance fraud, arson, and bad faith. Mr. Ferrand routinely appears before state and federal courts as well as administrative boards representing clients in insurance disputes, contract disputes, negligence claims, premises/construction liability, business disputes, and workers compensation matters.
Born in Greenwood, Indiana in 1977, Mr. Ferrand graduated from Wabash College in 2000 and Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis in 2003. He served as a class representative on the Student Senate Board at Wabash College while competing in Varsity Football and Baseball. During Law School, Mr. Ferrand interned for the Honorable Judge James Kirsch of the Indiana Court of Appeals. Mr. Ferrand also served as a law clerk for the Office of Indiana Attorney General in 2002. Now, Mr. Ferrand leads initiatives to educate insurance representatives and local fire departments on arson detection and prevention. Mr. Ferrand was recognized as a 2011 “Rising Star” by Indiana Super Lawyers for his work in the Insurance Coverage and Litigation practice areas.
Mr. Ferrand currently serves as a Board Member for the Indiana Chapter of the National Society of Insurance Investigators (NSPII). Mr. Ferrand is a member of the Indiana and Indianapolis Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in the Northern District of Indiana, the Southern District of Indiana, and the State of Indiana.
